Defining Payola
Payola refers to the unethical practice where artists or record labels attempt to influence radio stations, curators, or other public music distributors by offering bribes to secure airplay or playlist placements.
Our Strong Stance
At letssubmit, we want to make it clear that we unequivocally condemn and prohibit payola under any circumstances. We are committed to promoting fair and ethical practices in the music industry and stand firmly against such practices in general.
The duo
letssubmit is created by the two swedish guys Joel and Simon. They love getting in touch!
Joel Sjövik
Joel is a music creator and front-end developer. He is responsible for the interface and face of letssubmit. Joel was born in a little village called "Kärrtorp" in the deep south of Sweden. He has since 9 years of age played the piano. As time went on he showed interest in other different instruments like drums, acoustic guitar and bongo drums. He has been playing in various bands like Mikeyla, Beerklunkers, Kane and Joel and Unchained (swedish metal band) through-out the years.
Simon Magnusson
Simon is the mighty Zeus developer who solves many mysteries and problems turning up. Like the mighty Zeus he is he has so far produced 6 children (with the same partner!). His state of mind could be discussed though since no technical issue is solved without a big grin on his face.
